Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven International Business & Business Development Director to lead our growth strategy across CLMV and China markets.

This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships to strengthen the company's international footprint. The successful candidate will be a hands-on sales leader with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and proven track record in international sales, business development, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute international sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
  • Drive sustainable business growth through distributor management, channel expansion, and key account development.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and secure new business opportunities across CLMV and China.
  • Establish and manage strategic relationships with distributors, retailers, and business partners.
  • Identify and convert high-potential opportunities into long-term business growth.

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Develop and implement market entry and expansion strategies for existing and new markets.
  • Explore new distribution channels, partnerships, and business models to accelerate growth.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build a strong business pipeline and drive customer acquisition initiatives.

Commercial Leadership

  • Own and manage international business performance, including sales forecasting, business planning, and P&L accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Development teams to ensure successful execution of commercial plans.
  • Monitor business performance and develop action plans to maximize growth opportunities.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Influence and engage internal and external stakeholders to drive business objectives.
  • Represent the company in international trade events, business forums, and key customer meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in International Sales, Business Development, Commercial Management, or Export Business.
  • Strong experience in CLMV and/or China markets.
  • Proven track record in sales growth, market expansion, and distributor management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, or related industries is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
