Job Description

We're hiring: International Key Account Manager

Location: Bangkok (Rama 3), Thailand (on-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive international market expansion strategy across neighboring countries and selected global regions, focusing on exporting owned brands (e.g., cosmetics, lingerie, baby apparel, mother & child care, home care products) and selected portfolio brands.
  • Develop and manage international key accounts including distributors, modern trade chains, specialty retailers, department stores, and emerging online platforms.
  • Identify and penetrate new sales channels across target markets, including General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce, Cross-border platforms, and regional marketplace ecosystems.
  • Conduct market entry analysis covering regulatory requirements, consumer trends, pricing structure, competitor landscape, and channel dynamics for each territory.
  • Formulate annual business plans, country-level sales targets, distributor development roadmap, and structured expansion strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Lead negotiation of commercial terms including pricing strategy, margin structure, trade discounts, payment terms, credit control, and promotional support frameworks.
  • Monitor distributor performance including sell-in, sell-out, inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and working capital impact.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Export Operations, and Logistics teams to ensure product availability, production planning alignment, lead time control, shipping documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with Brand Management and Marketing teams to localize product positioning, packaging adaptation, regulatory labeling, and promotional execution in overseas markets.
  • Manage demand forecasting in collaboration with distributors and internal supply chain to ensure optimal inventory allocation and minimize stock risk.
  • Oversee export documentation, cross-border trade compliance, customs coordination, and country-specific product registration requirements (especially for cosmetics and FMCG).
  • Provide structured monthly business review reports to Sales Director covering sales performance, margin contribution, market risks, competitor activities, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Identify white-space opportunities for regional expansion, new distributor onboarding, or alternative route-to-market models (e.g., direct export vs local JV vs marketplace-driven model).
  • Strengthen long-term international brand positioning to build sustainable overseas revenue streams for the group.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in international sales, export management, or regional key account management within Retail, FMCG, Cosmetics, Baby Care, or Fashion sectors.
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel sales structures including Modern Trade (MT), Traditional Trade (TT), Department Stores, Specialty Retail, and E-commerce.
  • Solid knowledge of international supply chain processes including export documentation, INCOTERMS, freight coordination, customs requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing distributors across ASEAN or other regional markets is highly preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to manage pricing, margin structure, and distributor trade terms.
  • Analytical mindset with strong sales forecasting and performance tracking capability.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Thai and English; additional regional language (Chinese, Vietnamese, Bahasa, Arabic) is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and expansion-driven mentality.
