Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, Logistics, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
At least 2–5 years of experience in international purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing company.
Experience in sourcing and purchasing packaging raw materials, plastic films, resins, aluminium foil, paper, inks, adhesives, solvents, or chemicals would be an advantage.
Good knowledge of international purchasing procedures, Incoterms, payment terms, import documentation, customs clearance, and shipment coordination.
Able to analyze quotations, total landed costs, price trends, lead times, minimum order quantities, and inventory impact.
Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
Able to monitor purchase orders, production schedules, shipping arrangements, and material delivery to prevent supply shortages.
Good command of written and spoken English for communication and negotiation with overseas suppliers.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or purchasing systems.
Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
