Job Summary

We are seeking an International Trade & Food Compliance Specialist to drive the global expansion of the TAO BIN (เต่าบิน) brand. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the regulatory and compliance aspects of exporting TAO BIN's signature syrups, beverage ingredients, and dry goods to international markets.

You will not be responsible for sourcing raw materials, as we have an established Purchasing team and supplier network. Instead, your core mission is to act as the regulatory bridge, ensuring all products meet the import laws, FDA regulations, and ingredient standards of each destination country. If any ingredient faces legal restrictions, you will coordinate with our Purchasing team and Suppliers to guide formulation adjustments, enabling us to successfully trade and launch TAO BIN products worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Food Regulation & Compliance Review:

  • Research, monitor, and analyze food import regulations, customs laws, and FDA/food authority requirements for target countries where TAO BIN is expanding.
  • Review product specifications, recipes, and chemical compositions of our syrups and dry ingredients to ensure 100% compliance with destination country laws.

• Ingredient & Formula Adjustment Coordination:

  • Identify potential regulatory barriers or prohibited ingredients in foreign markets.
  • Act as the key technical coordinator between the International Business team, internal Purchasing, and existing Suppliers to request and oversee necessary adjustments to ingredient formulations (e.g., adjusting sugar levels, food colorings, or preservatives to meet local laws).

• Export Documentation & Labeling Compliance:

  • Oversee regulatory requirements for exporting products under the TAO BIN brand (OEM / Private Label model).
  • Prepare and verify critical compliance documents, including Certificates of Analysis (COA), Health Certificates, Free Sale Certificates, and Ingredient lists.
  • Review and approve product packaging artwork and nutrition labels to ensure they meet the specific labeling laws of each country.

• Government & Agency Liaison:

  • Liaise with local and international food authorities (e.g., Thai FDA, US FDA, EFSA, or equivalent regional bodies) and customs brokers to facilitate smooth international trade operations.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Regulatory Affairs, International Business, or a related field.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Food Regulatory Affairs (RA), Food Export Compliance, or International Trading, ideally within the beverage, syrup, or food ingredient industries.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of global food safety standards, additive regulations, and prohibited ingredients in major international markets.
  • Familiarity with international trade processes, Incoterms, and customs clearance protocols.

Key Skills:

  • Exceptional coordination and communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between foreign legal requirements, internal Purchasing, and external chemical/food suppliers.
  • Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail regarding technical data and legal texts.

Language: Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Proficiency in a third language (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Malay) is a major advantage.
