Rendy is a startup building a rental marketplace that helps people access more by owning less. We believe in sharing, community and building products transparently with real people. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to help shape how people discover, relate to and grow with Rendy from the very beginning.
Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Intern will support Rendy's brand presence, content creation and early community building across digital platforms. This role focuses on storytelling, audience engagement and content development rather than traditional advertising or corporate marketing. You will work closely with the founders and have real ownership over ideas that go live.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategies
- Assist in developing go-to-market ideas and communication approaches for Rendy
- Contribute strategic ideas on brand positioning, messaging, and audience targeting
- Help translate brand strategy into clear, consistent communication across channels
2. Content & Storytelling
- Create and publish content across social media platforms
- Share behind-the-scenes stories of building Rendy, team culture and startup life
- Adapt social and cultural trends into content aligned with Rendy's brand voice
- Support caption writing and visual content creation
3. Brand Engagement
- Engage with audiences through comments, messages and interactions
- Help build and maintain an early brand community
- Observe audience sentiment and feedback to inform content direction
4. Performance & Analytics
- Monitor social trends, cultural conversations and platform updates
- Analyze social media performance metrics
- Propose improvements and new content ideas based on audience behavior and trends
- Prepare simple internal reports such as content performance summaries and insight recaps
Qualifications
Required
- University student or recent graduate in Communication Arts, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related fields.
- Strong interest in social media, digital content and online culture
- Comfortable creating content using a smartphone (shooting and editing)
- Familiar with platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
- Curious, proactive and willing to learn in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred
- Interest in startups, technology, lifestyle, or creator economy
- Experience with content tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva)
- Active personal social media usage or content creation experience
