The student will gain hands-on experience in procurement and sourcing by supporting tender activities, vendor management, and market analysis. The student will collaborate with experienced professionals to drive procurement efficiency and compliance initiatives.
Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- RFI/RFP & Tender Support: Assist in the preparation of Request for Information (RFI) questionnaires, compilation of bid tabulations, coordination of tender documentation, and follow-up with vendors throughout the sourcing process.
- Vendor Database & Compliance Management: Maintain and update supplier databases, verify vendor certifications, monitor safety and regulatory compliance documentation, and organize contract records for audit readiness.
- Market Sourcing & Price Benchmarking: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, benchmark material and contractor costs, evaluate equipment replacement options, and provide sourcing insights to support procurement decisions.
- Procurement Reporting & Process Tracking: Monitor Procurement Intake Form submissions and Purchase Order (PO) turnaround times, generate procurement performance reports, and support process improvement initiatives through data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Education Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (3rd or 4th year preferred) in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, report preparation, bid tabulations, and documentation management.
- Strong Time Management Skills: Able to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
