Role Description The Interpreter role at Banyano Data Center Solutions is an on-site position based in Map Ta Phut. The Interpreter will facilitate clear communication between local teams, international staff, and external partners during meetings, site visits, and operational reviews. Daily responsibilities include providing real-time verbal interpretation, translating written documents and technical materials, and ensuring that specialized data center terminology is conveyed accurately. The role also involves supporting training sessions, assisting with client presentations, and collaborating with operations and engineering teams to avoid misunderstandings that could affect safety or performance. The Interpreter will maintain confidentiality, uphold professional standards, and contribute to a collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in at least two languages relevant to the Data Center or Engineering industry with excellent listening, speaking, and reading comprehension skills in Mandarin and Thai
• Experience in on-site or simultaneous interpretation, with the ability to handle technical discussions in real time and adapt language to different audiences.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to data centers, engineering, or industrial operations; prior experience in a technical environment is an advantage.
• Skilled in written translation of meeting minutes, reports, emails, and training materials, with attention to accuracy and consistency in terminology.
• Strong interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, and collaboration skills, with a focus on professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple interpretation requests and documentation tasks effectively.
• Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Lark, WeCom, and etc.); familiarity with terminology management or translation tools is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Languages, Translation, Interpretation, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience working in industrial, engineering, or data center environments is beneficial, as is familiarity with safety and compliance practices.
