Role Summary
Responsible for providing bilingual (Chinese-English) interpretation and translation support for data center MEP projects. This role ensures accurate communication across engineering, construction, and management teams, supporting both technical documentation and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily interpretation support (Chinese ↔ English) for meetings, site discussions, and coordination with stakeholders
- Translate technical documents, drawings, reports, and project-related materials
- Support communication between engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams
- Assist in reviewing and translating MEP-related documentation, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ensure accurate translation of technical terminology and maintain consistency across project documents
- Support project teams during construction and commissioning phases
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure clear and efficient communication flow
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative and project coordination tasks as needed
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in English, Translation, MEP Engineering (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing), or related fields
- 2-5+ years of translation or interpretation experience in engineering, construction, or data center projects
- Background in EPC contractors or construction companies is preferred
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Familiar with MEP systems including HVAC, electrical systems, UPS, diesel generators, fire protection, and BMS
- Experience handling technical documents and engineering terminology
- Basic understanding of international standards or data center-related guidelines is a plus

- Strong translation capability for both written and verbal communication
- Good coordination and interpersonal skills
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail
