New Energy Capital Asia is a Singapore-headquartered developer-operator of clean infrastructure assets, with a strong operational footprint in Thailand. We focus on fully financed BOOT / long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for rooftop solar PV, battery storage (BESS), Cooling-as-a-Service (CaaS), and industrial Heating-as-a-Service (HaaS). Our clients include leading hospitality groups, industrial manufacturers, and logistics operators across Southeast Asia.

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Investment Analyst to join our Bangkok office. This role is designed for professionals with at least 3 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, consulting, or renewable energy who want to be at the intersection of clean energy, private equitystyle infrastructure investment, and deal execution.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial models for solar PV, BESS, and energy-as-a-service projects under PPA structures.

Support transaction execution, including due diligence, structuring, and investment committee documentation.

Conduct market and regulatory research, including competitor and tariff benchmarking across Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Prepare client proposals, presentations, and investor reports.

Collaborate with technical and legal teams to align project economics with engineering and contractual structures.

Monitor and report on portfolio performance, including KPIs and cash flows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project finance, investment banking, management consulting, or renewable energy/infrastructure development.

Strong financial modelling, analytical, and valuation skills.

Excellent written and presentation skills in English; Thai language proficiency strongly preferred.

Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under tight timelines.
