Job Purpose:
- Pension Investment Operations: responsible for ensuring that the investment transactions are accurately processed and recorded in SAP FAM system, monitoring daily corporate actions transactions, update the daily market prices of all assets in SAP FAM, reconciling assets and cash accounts and preparing the investment reports to support Fund Management Unit, Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management team to make sure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Pension Investment Governance: Ensure effective governance and compliance of pension investment activities by monitoring, reviewing, and controlling investment-related processes, policies, and incidents in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Handle for pre-matching and checking the correctness of Trade Blotter sent from Dealer via PINS system against Broker Trade Confirmation to ensure all daily investment trade transactions are uploaded from PINS to FAM system with the accurate information.
- Prepare the trade settlement instructions and the cash transfer instructions and send to checker or authorizer for signing in paper instruction and releasing via electronic system within agreed timeline without any error, including preparing the cash transfer details in the Bank to Bank (B2B) Transfer excel template for uploading into SAP FAM system after reviewing by checker.
- Perform daily cash and asset reconciliation between SAP FAM report against Custodian's report and send to checker for review to ensure that all cash and assets are settled completely, recorded into portfolios correctly and no discrepancies.
- Monitor all corporate action (CA) events such as rights issues, mergers, dividends, and bond switches to ensure accurate and timely posting of CA transactions in SAP FAM. Coordinate with GFS Corporate Actions team for updates. Including, provide shareholder meeting information and entitlements to Fund Managers for proxy voting process.
- Prepare the daily market prices of bonds, equities and mutual funds by updating in market price upload template and send to checker for review before uploading to SAP FAM.
- Prepare the daily Investment reporting by running from SAP FAM system and import to PINS system to support and provide to Fund Manager, Compliance and Risk Management teams as agreed timeline. Including, prepare monthly regulatory reporting in PINS system.
- Prepare performance & attribution reports.
- Update and monitor Investment Limits, ORR and credit ratings in PINS system.
- Verify and control investment universe updates (Stocks, Debentures, Mutual Funds and PF & REITs lists) in line with approved guidelines.
- Attend Investment Committee (IC) and Sub-Investment Committee (Sub-IC) meetings as an observer; review and validate meeting minutes for accuracy.
- Maintain and monitor Control Sheets for policies, procedures, SOPs, and guidelines of all Units; ensure timely review and updates.
- Coordinate with Compliance on investment-related incidents, ensuring proper reporting and corrective actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Experience in asset management company business, especially in Risk Management or Investment Operation
- Knowledge of provident fund regulations (PVD Act, SEC, AIMC) and investment governance principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage compliance processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Good command of English
