Job Description
The Investor Relations Director owns the companys strategic relationship with the investment community and leads capital market communication to strengthen investor confidence and long-term shareholder value. This role governs enterprise disclosure strategy, equity story development, investor intelligence, and executive advisory for C-Suite and Board decision forums. The role also leads company stock performance monitoring, market valuation analysis, and investor perception strategy, ensuring that corporate financial communication and strategic positioning positively support fair market valuation. This role partners with Legal for compliance and collaborates with Finance, Treasury, and Investment teams for financial accuracy, without owning operational accounting, liquidity delivery, procurement execution, or investment transaction execution.
Responsibilities
Investor & Capital Market Engagement
- Lead and execute the Investor Relations strategy to strengthen shareholder confidence and long-term corporate valuation
- Act as the primary IR spokesperson for institutional investors, equity analysts, credit agencies, and financial media
- Lead investor meetings, earnings calls, non-deal roadshows, and capital market engagement programs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buy-side investors and sell-side analysts
Equity Story, Financial Messaging & Corporate Value Positioning
- Develop and own the companys equity story and investment thesis, grounded in corporate financial performance and long-term strategic value drivers
- Ensure IR messaging reflects a consistent, credible, and forward-looking corporate value narrative
- Oversee preparation of investor communication materials, including earnings presentations, annual reports, fact sheets, scripts, Q&A, and market briefings
Company Stock, Market Valuation & Investor Perception Ownership
- Own and lead monitoring and analysis of company stock performance, trading dynamics, and valuation movement relative to peers and market conditions
- Interpret key valuation drivers including earnings expectations, cost structure signals, strategic announcements, macroeconomic impact, and sector sentiment
Investor Intelligence, Peer Benchmarking & Strategic Advisory
- Lead analysis of investor sentiment, market expectations, industry trends, and competitor financial positioning
- Deliver investor intelligence insights and strategic recommendations to the C-Suite and Board
- Advise leadership on capital market perception risks and opportunities that may impact valuation
Disclosure Governance & Regulatory Compliance Partnership
- Own the companys disclosure governance strategy to ensure fair, accurate, timely, and transparent dissemination of information to the market
- Partner closely with the Legal Director to ensure compliance with with SET/SEC disclosure regulations
- Lead regulatory filings and corporate disclosure submissions including periodic and event-based disclosures
Investor Inquiry & Crisis Communication Leadership
- Lead responses to external investor and analyst inquiries, ensuring accuracy and message consistency
- Lead IR crisis communication strategy during market-sensitive events or corporate announcements
Qualification
- Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or Corporate Strategy
- CFA, CPA, or Investor Relations professional accreditation is advantageous
- 10+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Capital Markets, Strategic Finance, or Investment Banking
- Strong experience working with public market investors, equity analysts, and listed company disclosures (preferably SET/SEC environment)
- Proven track record leading earnings calls, non-deal roadshows, and investor engagement programs
- Experience in financial modernization or strategic transformation is beneficial
