Job Description

The IT & AI Automation Manager is responsible for leading the organization's digital transformation through the strategic implementation of information technology infrastructure and AI-driven automation solutions. This role oversees IT operations, develops automation frameworks, and drives efficiency across business processes by leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotic process automation (RPA) technologies.

Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure & Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, systems administration, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure system reliability and data security.
  • Manage IT vendors, contracts, and SLAs to ensure cost-effective service delivery.

AI & Automation Strategy

  • Define and execute the organization's AI and automation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and AI integration across departments.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of automation tools (RPA, AI/ML platforms, workflow engines).

Project & Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, automation engineers, and AI specialists.
  • Manage AI and automation projects end-to-end, from ideation to deployment and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of new technologies.

Data & AI Governance

  • Establish data governance frameworks to support AI model development and deployment.
  • Ensure responsible AI practices, compliance with data privacy regulations (PDPA, GDPR), and ethical use of AI.
  • Monitor AI model performance and oversee continuous improvement cycles.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage the IT and automation budget.
  • Track ROI of automation initiatives and report on technology investment outcomes to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in AI/automation-focused roles.
  • Proven experience implementing RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate).
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms (e.g., Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI).
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and cybersecurity principles.
  • Project management experience; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience in budget planning and vendor management.
