About Our Client
Our client is a leading multinational organization in Thailand, operating an end-to-end supply chain spanning warehousing, logistics. As a lean, fast-moving organization, they are seeking a hands-on, experienced IT professional to independently own and drive their Supply Chain IT function in Thailand.
What You'll Do
Take full, end-to-end ownership of IT systems supporting the supply chain, including:
- Manage and support warehouse management systems (WMS) across both onsite and online/e-commerce warehouse operations.
- Oversee logistics systems supporting inbound and outbound distribution, ensuring smooth coordination between warehouse, transport, and store networks.
- Manage payment gateway systems, ensuring stability, security, and seamless integration with point-of-sale.
- Act as the sole IT owner for supply chain systems in Thailand — independently managing day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination without a direct team.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, proactively identify gaps, and recommend practical improvements.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure system uptime, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
- Provide clear, well-organized reporting and updates to the Director on system performance, ongoing issues, and improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain IT, covering warehouse management systems, logistics, and/or payment gateway systems.
- Comfortable working independently as a sole contributor (individual contributor role, no direct reports), while collaborating closely with a regional IT hub and senior stakeholders abroad.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders, understand operational pain points, and proactively suggest improvements.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and on-the-ground observation.
- Willingness to travel locally for regular warehouse and store visits in addition to office-based work.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a lean organizational structure with significant autonomy.
