All about the role:
IT Integration Lead demonstrates a high level of responsibility, competence, and proficiency, ensuring the successful delivery of application knowledge throughout every stage of system analysis, design, and implementation. This expertise is particularly emphasized in the realm of PLC integration and effective communication with the MES Application (Apriso), known as EluxMES.
The position involves offering guidance on system configuration and/or generating specifications for necessary enhancements and modifications to meet the specific Business needs.
What you'll do:
- Perform manufacturing applications configuration and/or enhancements in relation to Integration & PLC communications in the shopfloor area.
- Help in studying logical and technical solutions to cover business requirements.
- Coordinate activities from MES side, to ensure that all requirements for MES are consdsidered for factory machine interface.
- Actively participate in Projects, leading activities related application integration configuration tasks.
- Perform User & Final acceptance testing, during Project implementation.
- Write, review, and give recommendations on functional application Integration documentation.
- Maintain (and give visibility of) the backlog and the archive of the business requirements.
- Effective collaboration with key Business stakeholders, IT consultants and vendors.
- Work on cross-functional environment with other departments.
- Performs projects & assignments to respond to special Business requirements to be solved via shop floor application's Integration configuration and/or enhancements and modifications.
On a typical workday
- Discussion with OEM/machine vendor for interfacing machines with MES solution
- Preparation of automation Discovery Template / Fit Gap document
- Collaborate with local automation & Global internal teams, ME & IIoT teams.
- Requirements discussions, solution design and prepare documentation for automation layer with Global internal team.
- OEE downtime analysis of PLCs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron PLCs) and HMI backup files to explore the Global standard or Nonstandard OEE downtime reason codes with description.
- Review with OEM/Machine vendor for identified machines integration, about gaps, solution & issues.
- Environment Setup for Installing Kepware OPC, OPC Router, SQL Database, PLC test bench server for Test and Production.
- Configuration & Development of OPC Router/Kepware following Global standards.
- Testing and troubleshooting using test bench PLC, Kepware/OPC router simulation in test environment.
- Issue analysis & fixing for equipment Automation Functionalities, with IT team.
- Enhancement of existing system or adding new machines parameters as continuous Improvement activity into Automation layer for MES system or IIOT.
- Perform for SIT/FAT/UAT testing, from Application Integration perspective & issues resolution.
- Perform Preventive health Check in Machine Connectors and OPCs.
- Apply the most effective methods learned from addressing issues at other plants and communicate the insights gained to the global team.
- Knowledge Transfer to local automation / OPC teams.
- Deployment of PLC/Electrolux standard logic in Production environment for Go Live, following Project plan, including weekends & as per machine availability.
- Post Go Live support to MES & local business teams.
- Preparation of automation documentations for end users.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Information Systems, Automation or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years working in Manufacturing and/or Automation area.
- Knowledge of OPC Kepware solution & OPC routers.
- Operational knowledge & configuration of SIEMENS, KEBA, MITSUBISHI PLC series.
- Good knowledge of factory automation systems (HMI/SCADA).
- Basic knowledge of IoT Devices.
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, PC, Network and Servers setup.
- Ability to understand Manufacturing Business processes.
- Innovative & with a genuine interest in Technology & a pragmatic approach to delivery.
- Willing to learn by doing.
Experience & Competencies To Be Considered As An Advantage
- Knowledge of Apriso/Dassault or other MES solutions.
- Good Knowledge of ERP and MES systems.
- Knowledge of Grafana platform.

You will be based in our Rayong plant and report to the IT MES Solutions Manager.
