JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network admin to join our Global network team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with manufacturing networks.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

• Perform routine network maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure that the network is operating at an optimal level.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the network by implementing and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.
• Monitor network usage and bandwidth to identify and address issues related to performance and capacity.
• Configure and maintain network devices, including firewalls, switches, routers, and access points.
• Implement and maintain network protocols and services, such as DHCP, DNS, and SNMP.
• Collaborate with other members of the IT team to develop and implement network policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with GNOC to ensure 24x365 support for the operations.       

 NETWORK OF INTERACTION:

     INTERNAL : coordination with the local IT teams, managing integration projects accordingly with the                                 Global network CoE

     EXTERNAL : vendor coordination and order management

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a network admin role, preferably in the manufactory.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience leading and managing projects related to network integration.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Fluent English, another additional European language is a plus.
• Flexibility to travel.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto platform is a plus.
