IT Procurement and Contract Management Position

Roles and Responsibilities

A dynamic and detail-oriented IT Procurement and/or Contract Management professional.

The candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing IT procurement and other assigned tasks. This role involves sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with both business units and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement solutions.

As an IT Procurement:

  • Responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement of IT products and services, including hardware, software, IT services, outsourcing, or other assigned tasks.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for IT products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Lead contract negotiation efforts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with business unit objectives.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce the total cost of ownership.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Ensure procurement activities are compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Provide reports and analytics on spending to management.

As a Contract Manager:

This role plays a critical part in managing supplier contracts, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

  • Manage and review contract terms for commercial accuracy.
  • Lead contract review meetings across departments to align on deliverables.
  • Track project budgets and financial performance.
  • Manage risks and proactively resolve issues.
  • Liaise with business units, suppliers, and the legal team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in corporate procurement, contract management, or similar roles (experience in multinational companies is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of commercial acumen, trends & technologies, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic sourcing plans.
  • Proficiency in procurement and data management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-related skills (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot365) is an advantage.
