Job Title: IT Project Manager (Banking)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager with extensive experience in banking to join our team in Bangkok, Thailand. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of project management principles, SDLC methodology, and banking systems, particularly in Cash Management or Trade products. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Monitoring:
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor progress to ensure project milestones are achieved within scope and schedule.
  1. Team Coordination:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.
  1. Problem-Solving:
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Mitigate risks and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  1. Documentation and Presentation:
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications and status reports.
  • Deliver clear and engaging presentations to stakeholders.
  1. Technical Oversight:
  • Apply expertise in SDLC methodology and IT systems to guide project development.
  • Oversee technical tasks, including programming and database management (PL/SQL, UNIX, network systems).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of IT Project Management experience, preferably in the banking sector.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC methodology.
  • Proficiency in programming, databases (PL/SQL), UNIX, and network systems.
  • Banking Domain Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Cash Management or Trade products is highly beneficial.
  • Communication:
  • Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project Management Skills:
  • Expertise in project planning, monitoring, and risk management.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Proven ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
