Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring projects are delivered according to objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- Develop project strategies, project plans, milestones, and detailed work processes to ensure effective project execution.
- Manage software development and IT projects, including Website, Application, System Implementation, and other technology-related projects.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate solutions to minimize delays and errors.
- Track project performance and prepare regular progress reports and presentations for management.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, business users, IT teams, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Lead and supervise project teams to ensure systematic, efficient, and standardized ways of working.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support the team in resolving issues and removing impediments when required.
- Apply appropriate project management methodologies, including Agile and Traditional/Waterfall approaches.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Process and Value Stream Management (VSM).
- Apply or support scaled Agile practices using frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, communication, coordination, and negotiation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Project Management or a related role.
- Proven experience managing IT or software development projects, such as Website, Application, or System Implementation projects.
- Strong experience with both Agile and Traditional/Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience working in a Scrum team and acting as a Scrum Master.
- Experience with Lean Process and/or Value Stream Management (VSM).
- Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum) is highly preferred.
- Strong project planning, problem-solving, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Creative, proactive, enthusiastic, and willing to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Senior IT Project Manager with solid experience managing software development or system implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments with Scrum Master experience.
- Strong understanding of Lean, VSM, and scaled Agile frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
