Job Description

Part of our global IT team, focusing on the Microsoft environment and user support



About the Role:



We are seeking an IT Specialist for our Bangkok office to play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our Microsoft ecosystem, including platforms such as SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Service, and Power Platform solutions. As a member of our global IT team, you will champion the optimization and ongoing enhancement of our digital tools, promote the adoption and effective use of Microsoft Office programs among employees, and actively participate in international IT projects. Alongside these core responsibilities, you will provide 1st level IT support to colleagues throughout Asia, ensuring stable operations and responsive assistance whenever needed.



Main Responsibilities:




  • Play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft platforms, with a focus on SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Service, and Power Platform solutions.

  • Champion the adoption and effective use of Microsoft Office tools, including Teams and Copilot, by providing guidance and support to employees.

  • Deliver responsive 1st level IT support for the Bangkok office and the broader Asia region, ensuring stable operations and rapid assistance for approximately 40 users.

  • Engage with the global IT team, contributing to international IT projects and fostering collaboration across locations.

  • Continuously seek improvements to the IT environment, ensuring reliable performance and proactively addressing challenges as they arise.



Qualifications and Competencies:




  • Proven experience managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 platforms, especially SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Service, and Power Platform solutions.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Copilot, and the full suite of Office programs, with the ability to guide and support users in their effective adoption.

  • Solid background in providing 1st level IT support, including diagnosing and resolving issues with hardware, software, and network systems in a business environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different countries and cultures, and to contribute to international IT projects.

  • Self-motivated, service-oriented, and proactive in identifying and implementing improvements to ensure reliable and efficient IT operations.



Development Plan:



0-3 months: Introduction to SKOV IT standards, local systems and the global team.




  • Of which approximately 2 months as a trainee in Glyngøre, Denmark.



3-6 months: Independently managing local support and beginning global assistance.



6-12 months: Active participation in global projects and optimisation of local processes.



Possible topics for the introduction programme:



ISO27001 – reviews of relevant procedures



Working with the IT helpdesk



Procurement and configuration of laptops



Conducting IT introduction (including IT security)



Collaboration with Arctic Wolf



Backup and restores



Introduction to current SharePoint solutions



Microsoft Adoption programmes



Introduction to SKOV use of Power Platform



Introduction to ongoing projects:




  • Intune

  • Network segmentation
