Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Java/Python Senior Developer cum Architect who combines strong architectural expertise with hands-on engineering excellence. The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating across the entire software development lifecycle—from high-level architecture design to production-ready code implementation.
This role requires a professional who can leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software delivery while maintaining high standards of code quality, scalability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture and technical delivery for assigned modules and applications.
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical architectures and implementation plans.
- Drive architecture decisions and promote best practices across development teams.
- Develop and maintain production-grade applications using Java and Python technologies.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Design and implement microservices, event-driven, and serverless architectures where appropriate.
- Rapidly transform concepts and ideas into working solutions through iterative development.
- Review, validate, optimize, and productionize AI-generated code using strong engineering judgment.
- Ensure adherence to design patterns, coding standards, and architectural governance.
AI & Modern Engineering Expectations
- Leverage AI coding assistants such as Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools to accelerate development, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
- Demonstrate strong Prompt Engineering skills and hands-on experience with AI-driven software development workflows.
- Work with AI agents and automation frameworks to improve engineering productivity.
- Apply AI-assisted development practices while ensuring security, maintainability, and code quality.
DevOps & Cloud Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and govern CI/CD pipelines.
- Define and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish deployment, monitoring, and observability standards.
- Support cloud-native application design and deployment.
- AWS Cloud experience is preferred and will be an added advantage.
Required Qualifications
- 8–15 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
- Strong expertise in Java, Python, Oracle DB, and enterprise application development.
- Experience in designing distributed systems and enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and REST APIs.
- Experience with Apache Spark, Maven, and related development frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor engineering teams.
