Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for JEE and NEET faculty providing one-to-one home tuition coaching. The faculty member will conduct personalized teaching sessions in students homes, covering relevant syllabus topics for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Biology as per JEE and NEET requirements. Responsibilities include planning and delivering concept-focused lessons, assigning and reviewing practice work, conducting doubt-solving sessions, and tracking student progress. The role involves regularly assessing performance through tests, providing feedback to learners and guardians, and aligning teaching strategies with exam patterns and timelines. Faculty are expected to maintain professionalism, punctuality, and clear communication while adapting teaching methods to individual student needs.
Qualifications
- Strong subject expertise in JEE and/or NEET disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) and familiarity with current exam patterns and syllabi.
- Proven teaching or coaching experience in competitive exam preparation, preferably in one-to-one or small-group settings.
- Ability to design and implement structured lesson plans, practice schedules, and assessment strategies tailored to individual learners.
- Excellent communication, explanation, and interpersonal skills to engage students and clarify complex concepts effectively.
- Commitment to academic integrity, student motivation, and consistent follow-up on performance and improvement areas.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Medicine, Science, or related discipline); advanced degrees or credentials are an added advantage.
- Willingness to work part-time in an on-site, home tutoring format across Mumbai locations, with flexibility in scheduling as per student requirements.
- Experience with standardized testing strategies, time management coaching, and exam-oriented problem-solving is beneficial.
