ABOUT THE JOB

  • Lead and manage IT and software projects from initiation through delivery and deployment.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Estimate project resources and costs and ensure effective resource utilization.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, costs, and procurement requirements.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans across all phases of delivery.
  • Coordinate project teams and stakeholders to resolve issues, blockers, conflicts, and dependencies.
  • Manage backlog prioritization, resource allocation, and change management.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings and Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, milestones, and critical-path deliverables.
  • Identify project risks and issues and communicate appropriate mitigation plans to stakeholders.
  • Ensure functional and non-functional quality standards are maintained throughout delivery.
  • Provide regular project status updates covering milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support continuous improvement through process reviews and project/sprint retrospectives.

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in IT Project Management, Software Delivery, or IT Consulting.
  • Experience managing software or technology projects.
  • Experience within the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance industry is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Project Management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery environments is an advantage.
  • PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
