As a Junior UX/UI Designer at Nightify, you'll play a critical role in shaping how users interact with our booking platform by creating precise, intuitive venue floor plans. These layouts are functional, interactive components that directly impact how people discover and book tables at bars and nightclubs.
This is not a conceptual or branding-heavy UX role. It's a hands-on, detail-driven position focused on translating real-world spaces into clean, accurate digital layouts using Figma and our internal tools. You'll work with strict guidelines, exact measurements, and structured systems to ensure every floor plan is consistent, balanced, and production-ready
You'll work closely with the product, design, and operations teams to create and maintain these floor plans, and occasionally support other UX/UI or product-related tasks as needed. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys meticulous work, has a strong eye for precision, and takes pride in getting details exactly right.
This role is flexible and remote-friendly. You can work from anywhere, on your own schedule, as long as deliverables are accurate and on time. While the work itself can be repetitive and requires focus, it's also a great opportunity to build deep ownership over a core part of Nightify's product. If the fit is right, this role can grow into a long-term, full-time position and eventually expand into broader UX/UI responsibilities or even leading part of the design function as the company scales.
It's less about flashy design and more about structure, systems, and execution, with real impact on a live product used every day.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed venue floor plans in Figma based on strict internal design rules and real-world layouts (existing plans, photos, site visits, or hand-drawn sketches).
- Translate floor plans into Nightify's backend system by placing table objects, templates, and interactive booking elements with precise spacing and alignment.
- Apply accurate measurements, spacing logic, and proportions, including basic calculations for table sizes, distances, and balance across layouts.
- Update and refine existing floor plans based on venue changes, feedback, or operational needs.
- Maintain consistency across all venues by following Nightify's floor plan standards and guidelines.
- Assist with other UX/UI or product-related tasks when relevant (optional, as capacity allows).
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Figma, especially for layout, grids, and component-based design.
- Exceptional attention to detail and patience. You care deeply about alignment, spacing, and consistency.
- Comfortable following strict design rules and translating real-world spaces into accurate digital layouts.
- Able to work independently and manage repetitive, precision-focused tasks without losing quality.
- Interest in UX/UI design and product workflows. Prior experience with platform or system-based design is a plus.
- Backgrounds in UX/UI design, architectural design, interior design, industrial design, or similar fields are a plus, but not required.
- Open to supporting other UX/UI or product-related tasks as the role evolves.
- Background in architectural, interior, or industrial design is a plus, but not required. What matters most is precision, spatial understanding, and attention to detail.
- Based in Thailand. This role is remote, but we're looking for someone located in Thailand for easier coordination and long-term collaboration.
