Job Description
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Act as the company's primary point of contact for Key Contractor Accounts, primarily large Main Contractors, and selected strategic Sub-contractors / Applicators.
2. While not always directly responsible for closing sales, the core objective is to maximize product usage and specification adoption across assigned contractor accountswhether purchases are made directly from the company or through indirect channels.
3. Performance will be measured against four key KPIs:
- Growth of total sales (direct and indirect) within assigned contractor accounts
- Expansion of product portfolio penetration (new SKUs introduced)
- Increase in market share relative to the customers total demand
- Strength and depth of long-term relationships with key accounts
4. Build and manage strong engagement at the headquarter level of target customers, with responsibilities including:
- Understanding customer organizational structure, decision-making processes, key decision makers, and procurement workflows relevant to our products.
- Developing and managing relationships with stakeholders at all levelsfrom site personnel to senior managementacting as a bridge between customers and internal teams.
- Collecting and analyzing comprehensive project intelligence, including project details, project owners, competitors, and competitive offerings, to develop effective sales strategies.
- Presenting company products and solutions, with the objective of securing product specification approval in project designs.
- Coordinating with internal support functions (technical, pricing, logistics, and services) to deliver timely and targeted solutions, while balancing customer satisfaction and company profitability
- Collaborating closely with local sales teams responsible for project execution, including joint customer visits when appropriate.
- Monitoring, recording, and analyzing all sales-related data for assigned contractor accounts to identify new opportunities, relationship improvements, and unresolved issues.
- Working with management to develop both short-term and long-term strategic plans for key accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; candidates with a Civil Engineering background, prior experience in construction companies, and sales exposure will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction market.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proven capability in B2B relationship management, with the ability to design and execute long-term engagement strategies.
- High level of responsibility and a positive, solution-oriented mindset; able to manage urgent or critical issues outside normal working hours when required.
- Strong commitment to quality, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Effective English communication skills sufficient to work with international Civil Engineers.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis.
