About the Role
The Key Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key merchant partners and acting as the main point of contact for all day to day communication and support. The role includes developing and executing account plans that drive sales growth, analysing performance data to identify trends, and working with merchants on strategies to increase transaction volume and customer engagement. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, operational support, campaign execution, and prompt issue resolution. The role also involves identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, preparing proposals for expansion, and conducting regular business reviews to ensure satisfaction and long term retention.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and strengthen long term relationships with key merchant partners.
Serve as the main contact for day to day communication, support, and issue resolution.
Develop account plans to drive sales growth and improve merchant performance.
Monitor performance data and share insights to help partners achieve business targets.
Work closely with internal teams to deliver solutions, campaigns, and operational support.
Identify opportunities to increase product usage, launch new initiatives, or expand partnerships.
Conduct regular business reviews to align goals and ensure partner satisfaction.
Support onboarding and integration activities to ensure smooth merchant experiences.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in account management, partnerships, merchant or commercial roles.
Experience in fintech, e-commerce, retail, or payment solutions is an advantage.
Strong communication, analytical, and relationship management skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
