Position: Key Account Specialist (Freight Forwarding)
Location: AIA East Gateway, Bangna
Key Responsibilities: -
Account Development & Growth (Farming - 50%)
- Build, nurture, and sustain strong long-term partnerships with highvalue global and regional customers.
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and yearonyear revenue growth across assigned key accounts.
- Act as the customer advocate by understanding their business needs, industry challenges, and operational priorities.
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Pricing, and Customer Service teams to ensure flawless shipment execution and service delivery.
- Resolve issues quickly and effectively to maintain customer trust and deepen business relationships.
- Provide insights, performance analysis, and improvement recommendations to support account development.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records, forecasts, and reporting to ensure business transparency.
New Business Acquisition (Hunting - 50%)
- Identify, target, and prospect strategic new customers within assigned verticals or trade lanes.
- Develop a strong pipeline of new opportunities by leveraging market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry networking.
- Lead customer discovery, solution design, and proposal development to win new business.
- Present DHL Global Forwarding (AFR/OFR) capabilities effectively to secure new accounts and expand market share.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful conversion of new customers.
Qualification: -
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or a related logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of the global forwarding industry, including sector dynamics, AFR/OFR products, and operational processes.
- Proven experience in both key account management and new business development.
- Ability to identify customer needs, build long-term relationships, and translate requirements into commercial opportunities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
