L&D specialist (Course Development Focus)

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site L&D Specialist (Course Development Focus) role based in Bangkok City, Thailand. The L&D Specialist will design, develop, and update training programs and course materials to support employee capability building across the organization. Daily responsibilities include conducting training needs analyses, collaborating with stakeholders to define learning objectives, and creating engaging learning content, including e-learning modules, instructor-led materials, and job aids. The role involves managing learning projects end-to-end, from planning and content development to implementation and evaluation of training effectiveness. The L&D Specialist will also facilitate selected training sessions, coach subject matter experts on delivery, and ensure learning programs align with business goals and global L&D standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Training & Development and Learning Management, including planning, delivering, and tracking learning programs.
• Proficiency in Instructional Design, with experience creating structured, learner-centered content and assessments for various formats (e-learning, virtual, classroom).
• Excellent Communication and Coaching skills to collaborate with stakeholders, support subject matter experts, and engage diverse learner groups.
• Experience with learning technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools, and virtual training platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to analyze training data, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend improvements based on measurable outcomes.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple development projects and deadlines.
• Experience in BPO, shared services, or a service-oriented environment, and familiarity with competency frameworks, is an advantage.
• Comfort working in a multicultural setting; proficiency in English required, with Thai language skills considered a plus.
