JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and technical support to the team manager
- Support dye manufacturing processes (synthesis, purification, and spray drying) to ensure quality suitable for inkjet applications
- Prepare inkjet formulations (reactive, acid, disperse, and pigment types)
- Conduct laboratory experiments based on established procedures and relevant literature
- Measure and monitor physical and analytical data of raw materials and inks using laboratory instruments or in collaboration with local quality, analytical, and application laboratories
- Collaborate with analytical laboratories in Mumbai, India, when required
- Perform scale-up of inks (approximately 10 kg) for runnability testing and customer trials
- Support LVO protocol preparation and TTD processes for new ink development and plant introduction
- Manage purchasing of laboratory consumables and services through SAP
- Coordinate and plan activities for the inkjet project pipeline
- Maintain proper documentation, recording, and archiving of laboratory protocols
- Ensure compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) and the company Code of Conduct
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or related field
- Good command of English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
- Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in chemistry (apprenticeship or professional), preferably in the chemical, dye, or related industry
- Experience in research, development, or production of dyes; experience in aqueous formulation is a plus
- Practical knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, IC, ICP, GC, Spectro photometer, viscometry, tensiometer, and particle size analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
