Launch Manager

We are looking for a new colleague in plant project team at our location in Chonburi, Thailand.

What you can look forward to as a Launch Manager:

• Act as the liaison between plant operations, program managers, and customers to align on launch schedules, tooling, and quality targets.
• Drive plant teams to deliver launches (new, VAVE, post-SOP changes) on time and within budget.
• Meet all customer and company requirements for quality, cost, delivery, product performance, and satisfaction.
• Ensure APQP processes are followed per QS-9000/TS16949, and manage launches per ZF's GDPEP system.
• Serve as a key contact for customers during launch phases, managing timing, documentation, and communications.
• Oversee FMEA, control plans, and special characteristics; escalate risks early to resolve issues proactively.
• Monitor program costs (BOM, launch, Capex) and cycle times; organize builds and deliveries with proper documentation.
•  Lead internal meetings, present status in MSR/LRR, support HSE compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Your Profile as a Launch Manager:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Over 5 years in the automotive sector, with a focus on product launch and program management.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, IATF 16949, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and part approval procedures.
• Proficient in using WBS, Gantt charts, and budget tracking tools for effective project execution.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams across departments and manage complex projects from concept to SOP.
• Skilled in engaging with plant operations, customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Strong in planning, risk management, issue resolution, and multitasking under pressure.
