ECCO is now hiring for a LCA & Environmental Compliance Officerbased in Thailand. We seek a motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our global team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for Leather products and processes
- Engage with an international supplier for data collection and environmental performance improvement.
- Coordinate an international communication on Sustainability and Environmental topics.
- Support an Environmental Management Systems. regulatory compliance and reporting.
- Collaborate an excellent aspect on Environmental and Chemical management system, applied to Leather working Group (LWG), LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), Compliance and Sustainable in all aspect including other relevant an industrial environmental control system.
- Examine and measure the performance of Environmental and Chemical systems by means of alignment with Global Standard Compliance and International Audit etc.
- Monitor and follow up the result of an Environmental and Chemical issues to comply with ECCO Group, Legal, Local Laws and International Standard.
- Prepare Compliance and Sustainability development action towards net zero emissions and other relevant.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree or Higher in Environmental Engineer, Science Engoneer, Chemical Engineer or Equivalent.
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), Environmental Compliance and Sustainable and Carbon footprint analysis or related fields.
- Strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of sustainability standards as well as Environmental Protocols.
- Strong English communication and able to work with suppliers across different countries.
- Good knowledge and experience on operation of an Internation compliance such as European Union (EU) regulation and Zero Discharge for Hazard Chemical (ZDHC) and Restricted Substance Lists (RSL) and relevant.
- Comprehensive understanding of Carbon footprint legislation and climate change policies.
- Interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business.
- Acknowledge in manufacturing processes would be advantage
- Proactive, Team driven, communicative, logically, patient, fast and eager to learn
- Innovative, energetic to work in a diverse team.
- Onsite work location at Nakohn Luang, Ayutthaya.
