The Growth Operations sub-team serves as the engine room of Shopee's user acquisition strategy. We sit at the intersection of Marketing, Product, and Data, transforming high-level growth hypotheses into live, scalable market interventions.
Job Description
- Growth Portfolio Management: Consolidate individual roadmaps from Associates into a single, high-level growth master plan. Prioritize projects for budget and engineering resources based on projected ROI and strategic fit.
- Impact Modeling & Unit Economics: build the financial models to calculate the incremental impact of growth initiatives. own the CAC/LTV modeling and ensure the team remains within profitable efficiency bounds.
- Framework Development: Design the standardized Playbooks and experimentation frameworks that Associates use. define the methodology for A/B testing, success thresholds, and the Scale or Kill criteria for all growth levers.
- Cross-Functional Bridge: Act as the primary strategic point of contact for Regional leadership. Translate complex local market nuances into high-level business cases to secure buy-in for new features or budget expansions.
- Structural Optimization: Analyze the aggregate data from the entire user funnel to identify long-term structural changes rather than short-term tactical wins.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years in Growth Strategy, Management Consulting, or Category Management. You should have a proven track record of managing a portfolio of projects rather than a single stream.
- Advanced Quantitative Modeling: Mastery of Excel for financial modeling and business case projection. You must be able to calculate Incremental Lift and Attribution across multi-touchpoint journeys.
- Strategic Framework Thinking: Ability to apply industry frameworks to a high-volume e-commerce environment.
- Stakeholder Navigation: Experience managing up to Directors/Heads of Departments and down to Associates, ensuring strategic alignment across all tiers.
- Data Synthesis: Ability to look at 50 different A/B test results and synthesize them into a 3-slide executive summary that dictates the next 6 months of strategy.
- Educational Background: Strong academic record in a quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Statistics) is preferred.
