Job Summary
Lead the data foundation required for enterprise AI initiatives by ensuring that data is accessible, high-quality, governed, secure, and architecturally sound for AI/ML and GenAI use cases. Own the data strategy, data readiness, and data pipelines that enable scalable, responsible AI adoption across business units.
Key Responsibilities:
(The position is equivalent to Vice President (VP) level)
- Lead enterprise data strategy and architecture to ensure data readiness for AI and GenAI initiatives across business units.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms, pipelines, and foundational components to support high-impact AI use cases.
- Operate in a hybrid hands-on leadership capacity in early stages - setting strategic direction while actively building critical data pipelines, advanced DevOps/MLOps capabilities, and platform integrations - with a clear evolution toward pure leadership as the team matures.
- Own data product strategy, governance, quality, security, lifecycle management, and KPI frameworks to enable responsible, scalable AI adoption.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with AI Architects, Program Managers, MLOps, Data Engineering, and Business Data Owners while evaluating technology and platform investments to strengthen enterprise data capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in data architecture, data engineering, data modeling, and enterprise data platform design.
- Proven experience enabling data readiness for AI and GenAI workloads (RAG pipelines, embeddings, feature stores, knowledge indexing).
- Advanced expertise in DevOps/MLOps practices, CI/CD, data pipeline orchestration, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Deep understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance in complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent communicator capable of translating complex data architecture concepts for technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Experience managing and supporting large-scale data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Vertica).
