Lead Electrical Engineer – Advanced PCB & Hardware Design
Location: Thailand – onsite
Contract rate: Up to $32 USD per hour

Global Engineering Talent is supporting a leading global electronics design and manufacturing business with the appointment of a Lead Electrical Engineer in Thailand.
We are looking for an experienced hardware design engineer who can lead the development of complex, high-performance electronic boards from initial architecture and schematic design through validation and production release.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex electrical and board-level design activities
- Develop system architecture, schematics and component selections
- Design high-speed digital and high-performance analog circuits
- Provide technical direction during PCB layout and design reviews
- Lead board bring-up, testing, debugging and root-cause analysis
- Resolve signal integrity, power integrity and performance issues
- Support designs through validation, manufacturing and production release
- Coordinate technical activities across electrical, mechanical, software and FPGA teams
- Work closely with customer-facing and international engineering teams
Required experience
- Strong hands-on experience in electronics or hardware board design
- Experience taking complex board designs from concept through to production
- High-speed interface design experience involving one or more of:
- PCIe Gen 4/5
- JESD204B
- USB 3.0 or above
- High-performance analog design experience, including:
- Power management
- Clock generation and synchronisation
- Analog front ends
- Strong schematic capture, PCB layout support and board-level debugging skills
- Experience leading technical reviews and troubleshooting activities
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with international engineering teams
Experience with high-voltage pulsers, switchers or multiplexer board design would be particularly valuable.
Location and engagement
This is an onsite position in Thailand and cannot be performed remotely.

The contract rate is up to $32 USD per hour for approved hours worked, depending on technical capability and overall suitability.
