Lead Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to design, build, and scale robust backend systems and applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in system design, hands-on coding, and experience working on high-performance, scalable SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

● Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems

● Lead end-to-end development of backend services and applications

● Architect and implement microservices and distributed systems

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, frontend, and AI teams

● Review code, mentor junior engineers, and drive best engineering practices

● Optimize system performance, scalability, and security

● Participate in technical decision-making and architecture discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 8+ years of experience in software development

● Strong proficiency in either Python or Node.js

● Experience with Python frameworks like Django or FastAPI, or Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS

● Good understanding of software architecture and system design principles

● Understanding of coding standards, best practices, and code review processes

● Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and vibe coding concepts

● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

● Knowledge of databases, APIs, and cloud-based applications

● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment

Good to Have

● Experience working on SaaS or multi-tenant platforms

● Exposure to AI/ML-based systems or data-driven applications

● Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
