Overview
This pivotal role is responsible for managing internal audit operations effectively and efficiently ensuring that such independent assurance provides value-added insights for improvement of the company risk management, internal control and corporate governance processes. Key duties involve planning and executing audits, mentoring staff, collaborating across departments, and promoting ethical practices and strategic alignment with organizational goals.
Your roles
- Audit Planning & Execution: Develop and execute the annual audit plan, assessing enterprise-wide risks and allocating resources effectively.
- Risk & Control Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, governance, and risk management processes across various business functions.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop audit team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare high-quality audit reports with actionable recommendations and communicate findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure audit activities support the organization's strategic objectives and promote ethical conduct.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with department heads and management to understand operations and ensure audit effectiveness.
- Perform other tasks as may reasonably be requested.
Specification
- Excellent command of the Thai language with a deep understanding of local business contexts is strictly required to effectively collaborate with local stakeholders and partner.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in internal auditing is essential, with candidates who have specialized experience in the financial service industry, credit business, or Fintech/Digital Lending strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of internal audit standards including legal and regulatory requirements. Experience in digital financial services or Digital Lending is a plus!
- Results-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
- Good command of spoken and written in both Thai and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
