Job Description

We are expanding our backend team and need a Lead Software Engineer - Java with Spring Boot to lead the delivery of secure, scalable services. You will architect microservices with Java 21, Spring Boot, and Quarkus, run them on Azure Cloud with Kubernetes, and streamline releases via CI/CD. Bring your expertise and apply now.

Responsibilities

Deliver enterprise-grade solutions using Java and Spring Boot
Design and implement microservices architectures on cloud platforms
Create RESTful APIs that integrate backend services with frontend applications
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
Guide code reviews and provide technical leadership to engineering team members
Contribute to architectural decisions that ensure quality, security, reliability, and compliance
Follow Agile and DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle
Run and improve CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack
Deploy and manage services using containerization and orchestration tools

Requirements

Hands-on 5+ years of experience in designing and developing with Java 21, Quarkus, and Java/JEE
Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Security, and JUnit for building and testing services
Strong experience with Oracle, Sybase, and PL/SQL in relational database systems
Background in microservices architecture with Azure Cloud and Serverless deployments
Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts including pods, containers, services, and Istio
Practical experience with Docker and Redis
Strong skills in RESTful APIs and backend integration with frontend applications
Familiarity with Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

Nice to have

Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and React (including Hooks)
Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with performance tuning and DevOps
Capability to implement UX designs into responsive, scalable, maintainable UI solutions following standards and patterns
