What you'll be doing

You'll take responsibility for advancing a sophisticated iOS application used across multiple markets. That means designing scalable mobile architecture, improving performance and reliability, and introducing engineering standards that raise the bar across the team.

You'll partner closely with product and design to translate complex requirements into elegant mobile solutions, while also mentoring engineers and contributing to broader technical strategy. Beyond feature development, you'll optimise deployment pipelines, strengthen automated testing, and ensure the app remains secure, accessible, and performant at scale.

This is a role where your technical judgement will shape both the product and the people around you.

Your background

• Extensive experience building and scaling native iOS applications in Swift (Objective-C beneficial)
• Strong architectural expertise across modern mobile design patterns and clean code principles
• Track record of owning production systems, including release, monitoring, and performance optimisation
• Deep understanding of testing strategies and quality engineering in mobile environments
• Experience working in product-led, experiment-driven teams (Agile, CI/CD, analytics, A/B testing)
• Ability to communicate complex technical decisions clearly to both engineers and senior stakeholders

Exposure to cross-platform technologies, high-volume consumer apps, or globally distributed systems will strengthen your application.
