Job Description

Assist his/her supervisor in maintaining the smooth and efficient operations of the Learning & Development Department, ensure the training coordination is effective and efficient including Team Members of the property are trained and skilled to do their job well as per standards and objective of the property. This role involves promoting the organization as an employer of choice through strategic marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identification of training needs of the hotel
  • Coordinate and track all training being carried out in the property on an ongoing basis
  • Handle all matters pertaining to the recruitment and administration of Local trainees on the property
  • Manage and update Team Members records, monthly training record and ensure that all Team Members have carried out training hours according to ONYX, Learning & Development Standards
  • Support administrative functions of training program and Team Members, as needed
  • Deliver certain basic property-wide training courses for all Team Members
  • Assist the supervisor in preparing training materials, equipment and logistic required for Team Members
  • Assist in training and supporting departmental trainers, and coordinate training delivered by department trainees
  • Present training initiatives to continually improve standard of services, productivity and morale of Team Members
  • Develop and implement employer branding strategies to attract potential talents and interns.
  • Create compelling content for employer branding campaigns, including posts, blog articles, and promotional videos on social media platforms e.g. Amari Bangkok HR Facebook, Amari Bangkok HR LinkedIn, etc
  • Coordinate and participate in career fairs, career talk, open house, recruitment events, and other employer branding activities
  • Support the development and dissemination of internal communications related to employee engagement, recognition programs, and company culture
  • Manage internal communication channels and update content to keep employees informed and engaged
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, training providers, and industry associations to enhance employer branding efforts
  • Fulfill all other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor within the scope of this position and/or within the limits of the company policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Learning & Development, HR, or Employer Branding (preferably in the hotel industry)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in both Thai and English
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with a positive, proactive attitude
