HR Learning and Development Lead (Urgent)
Location: Ko Samui, Surat Thani, Thailand

The Opportunity:
Are you a natural educator with a passion for building teams from the ground up We are a fast-growing startup in the modern wellness and retail space looking for a high-energy L&D Lead to join our team in Koh Samui.
In this role, you won't just be checking boxes; you will be the architect of our team's growth. You will design the training programs that turn new hires into experts and help our staff provide world-class service to an international clientele.
Job Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Build training modules for retail excellence, product expertise, and operational compliance.
- Onboarding Excellence: Facilitate the New Joiner experience, ensuring every team member feels supported and aligned with our brand values from day one.
- Skills Gap Analysis: Regularly assess team performance and identify areas where training can drive better business results.
- Continuous Learning: Design creative workshops and digital resources that keep our team at the forefront of the industry.
- Performance Coaching: Support managers in developing their leadership skills and providing effective feedback to their teams.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional Communication: You must have native-level Thai and excellent English (written and spoken). You will be training a diverse team and communicating with international stakeholders.
- Training Background: Proven experience in training, teaching, or facilitation. You are comfortable standing in front of a group and keeping them engaged.
- Startup Mindset: You are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity. You prefer building new systems over maintaining old ones.
- Strategic & Hands-on: You can think about the big picture of organizational growth, but aren't afraid to get on-site and train staff on the floor.
- Island Lifestyle: You are either currently based in Samui or ready to relocate to an environment that blends high-performance work with island living.
Desired Experience
- A background in Hospitality, High-end Retail, or Wellness is highly preferred.
- Experience with digital learning tools or LMS platforms is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skillsyou should be a culture carrier who motivates others.
