About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Learning Designer / Content Author to support the design and development of high-quality, engaging digital learning experiences. In this role, you will transform existing source materials into well-structured, interactive courses that align with our learning design principles and client goals.
This is a remote, 12-month contract role requiring strong instructional design expertise, excellent writing skills, and comfort using AI tools to accelerate and refine content development.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Design & Content Development
- Design engaging online courses using existing source materials
- Create interactive lessons aligned with established learning design principles
- Reorganize, repackage, and standardize content using provided templates and frameworks
- Rephrase and refine copy to ensure clarity, consistency, and learner engagement
- Develop assessments, quizzes, and course questions aligned with learning objectives
Quality Review & Optimization
- Review and proofread courses for accuracy, clarity, tone, and instructional consistency
- Ensure content meets quality standards and aligns with learner needs
AI-Enabled Content Creation
- Utilize AI tools through effective prompting and iteration to speed up content development
- Continuously refine AI-generated content to meet instructional and editorial standards
LMS & Client Collaboration
- Provide LMS administration and content support as required
- Lead content migration calls with clients (as needed)
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client goals and learning requirements (as needed)
- Offer learning design and content consultation to clients (as needed)
Required Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- 4+ years of experience in instructional design, learning design, course development, curriculum design, education, or LMS administration
- Strong experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Sana AI, or similar) for content development
- Intermediate proficiency in prompt engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong technical writing and storytelling abilities
- Excellent project coordination and organizational skills
