ECCO is now hiring for Leather Technician (Leather Production) based in Thailand. We seek a motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our global team.

As a Leather Technician (Leather Production), you will play a central role in ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality leather manufacturing processes from beamhouse to finishing. You will be responsible for monitoring production parameters, troubleshooting process deviations, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining product quality in line with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

Tannery Leather Production and Technical:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet the manufacturing target while optimizing resource utilization.
• Working closely with relevant departments such as Production, Quality, Supply Chain and relevant assurance to ensure smooth production workflows.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with management system regulations and industry standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures/processes of excellent to uphold product quality and consistency.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
• Lead initiatives to implement process improvements and best practices.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Supervise and mentor subordinates, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance, commitment and morale.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning within the production team.

The ideal candidate

• Excellent written and spoken English skills + an additional languages are an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree is required; knowledge of Leather Technology/ Footwear Technology with chemical knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Tannery on manufacturing operation, preferably within the leather, footwear, casual, or sports industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience with premium leather products, especially within the high-end fashion segment.
• Demonstrated ability to assess customer needs and build strong, industry-leading relationships between the ECCO Leather brand and key accounts.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Commercially driven, results-oriented, with strong product understanding.
• Excellent communication, analytical, data-driven, presentation, persuasion, and influencing skills.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and high level of professionalism.
