About the China Practice

Our China Practice serves as a bridge between Chinese investors and businesses expanding into Thailand and the wider ASEAN region. We regularly advise Chinese state-owned enterprises and private corporations on cross-border investments, joint ventures, merger and acquisition, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution matters in Thailand. Working closely with colleagues across the Rajah & Tann Asia network, our team provides seamless bilingual legal support in Mandarin, English, and Thai, ensuring effective communication and practical solutions for Chinese-related transactions and projects.

What are we looking for

We are looking to hire Junior Associates and Mid-Level Associates to join our China Practice in our Bangkok office. The ideal candidates will have worked in a well-established law firm focusing on a range of corporate and commercial work, including foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions both domestic and cross-border, and general corporate advisories. However, a fresh graduate is also welcome.

Qualifications

  • 0 to 3 years legal experience (Junior Associates) or 4 to 6 years legal experience (Mid-Level Associates) in corporate and commercial work.
  • Strong academic credentials (GPA score of at least 3.5 or 75%).
  • Sound foundation in legal knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Chinese is an additional advantage.

  • Possesses initiative, drive and commercial acumen, and can work well both independently and in a team.
