Job Description
A food manufacturing is looking for Thailand Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will report to Regional Legal Counsel and be in charge of the overall legal activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice to Thailand leadership and various functions, including support for growth and capital investment projects.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, supply, and distribution agreements.
- Handle procurement, service contracts, and tolling/contract manufacturing agreements.
- Support dispute and claims management with practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Identify and manage enterprise risks; create policies and conduct training relevant to the Thai context.
- Monitor local legal developments and communicate implications to the business.
- Work with Regional Counsel and the Business Integrity team on global compliance programs, including Speak Up initiatives and investigations.
- Lead implementation of PDPA-related policies and governance practices.
- Assist with government and public affairs activities in Thailand.
- Oversee external counsel where required and within approved budgets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's in Law and qualified Thai lawyer.
- 510 years of legal experience
- Law firm experience is a plus.
- Experience in MNC manufacturing or F&B industries is an advantage.
- Excellent Thai & English communication.
- Domestic travel required as needed.
