Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, construction, EPC, supplier, and service contracts.
- Assess and manage contractual risks relating to cost, schedule, liability, performance, warranties, penalties, and termination.
- Provide businessoriented legal advice that balances risk with commercial practicality.
- Support contract-related negotiations with customers, suppliers, and EPC contractors.
- Advise internal teams on contractual terms, compliance requirements, and risk allocation.
- Collaborate with project, construction, procurement, finance, and operations teams to align contractual terms with business needs.
- Assist with contract disputes, claims, and variations, including engagement with external counsel.
- Contribute to improving contract templates, playbooks, and internal legal processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law; licensed or eligible to practice law.
- 57 years of experience reviewing commercial and/or construction contracts.
- Experience in data center, construction, EPC, infrastructure, energy, or related sectors (preferred).
- Strong background in construction/EPC contract risk management (preferred).
- Experience in a law firm is an advantage but not required.
- Strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and EPC contracts.
- Solid understanding of contract risk allocation and projectbased legal issues.
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Commercial mindset with sound business judgment.
- Communicative, open-minded, and effective in cross-functional environments.
- Proactive, handson, and solutionoriented approach.
