JOB SUMMARY:
The Legal Manager will lead the day-to-day legal operations for the company and its subsidiaries. This role focuses on the full lifecycle of real estate development, including investment, construction, advertising, and condominium sales. Additionally, the role provides legal oversight for special projects and strategic investments under the close guidance of BTSG's Legal Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and legal documents related to core business operations, land acquisition, and construction agreements.
- Legal Advisory & Consulting: Provide authoritative legal opinions to internal business units regarding property development, marketing compliance, and the sale of residential/commercial projects.
- Process & Procedure Oversight: Manage and optimize all legal workflows to ensure that project milestones and operational tasks are completed in compliance with Thai law.
- Transactional Supervision: Provide comprehensive legal governance for daily business transactions and operational activities to mitigate corporate risk.
- Regulatory & Government Affairs: Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies and regulatory bodies (e.g., OCPB (สคบ.), Department of Lands); prepare and submit official responses and legal defenses.
- Special Projects & Investment Support: Execute legal due diligence and process management for high-value special projects and strategic investments in coordination with the Parent Company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Thailand without visa sponsorship
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of legal experience in the real estate sector.
- Proven background within a top-tier law firm or a leading property development company is a plus.
- Expertise in the Land Code, Condominium Act, Building Control Act, and Consumer Protection Laws.
- Deep practical experience in handling government affairs, i.e. Department of Lands.
- Must hold a valid Lawyer License
- Excellent command of English
- Strong analytical mind, high professional integrity, and the ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced corporate environment.
