About the Role: We are seeking a professional and experienced Legal Specialist to provide comprehensive legal support and risk control for the company's overseas business, focusing on the Asia-Pacific region. The role covers compliance management, full-cycle contract administration, legal risk assessment, daily operational legal affairs, labor law management, dispute resolution, government liaison and insurance claim support. The incumbent will ensure all business activities operate within legal and regulatory frameworks, effectively mitigate overseas legal risks and safeguard the company's legitimate rights, interests and brand reputation, is required.

Responsibilities:

• Compliance Management: Implement compliance solutions, conduct compliance training and internal audits.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and revise expenditure contracts such as procurement, construction, and service agreements; coordinate the full-cycle management of project revenue contracts; refine contract terms to safeguard the company's interests.
• Legal Risk Assessment: Assess legal risks related to project policies, markets, and geopolitics, and develop special risk response plans.
• Operational Legal Affairs: Handle day-to-day legal matters for Asia-Pacific local entities of COOEC, and draft and review resolution documents for shareholders meeting and board of directors meeting.
• Employment Law: Manage the signing of local employment contracts, handle labor disputes, ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of both employers and employees.
• Dispute Resolution: Take full responsibility of project-related legal disputes, coordinate negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation, and safeguard the company's rights and brand reputation.
• Government Liaison: Liaise with local government authorities, handle project approval and licensing procedures, and monitor updates in local laws, regulations, and policies.
• Insurance Claims: Assist in procuring project, property, and liability insurance, follow up on claims processing, and mitigate business losses.
• Internal Legal Support: Conduct internal legal training, respond to business legal inquiries, and enhance the legal risk management capabilities of all staffs.

Qualifications:

• Education: Min a bachelor holder of law, contract management, business administration or other related majors;
• Work Experiences: Min 5 years relevant experience;
• Foreign Language: Fluent oral and written English;
• Note: This role may involve frequent travelling to China.
