About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and security-minded System Admin to join our team in Thailand. This role focuses on managing and optimizing Linux (CentOS/RHEL) servers, ensuring system uptime, and reinforcing cybersecurity across our IT infrastructure. You will also be involved in supporting CI/CD workflows and monitoring infrastructure, working closely with both local and global teams to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable system operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain Linux servers (CentOS/RHEL) and related services (DNS, Web, FTP, Firewall, etc.).
Monitor system performance, network security, and operational efficiency using tools like Grafana or Zabbix.
Manage user access, system resources, and permissions across environments.
Automate tasks using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
Apply system patches, updates, and harden Linux environments.
Maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab Runner, GitHub Actions, etc.
Collaborate with Dev/DevOps teams to support applications written in Golang, Node.js, Java, running in containerized or Kubernetes environments.
Handle backup/restore procedures and support disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Document system architecture, processes, and incident response procedures.
Work closely with other teams to resolve system-related issues and implement improvements.
RequirementsBachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration (CentOS/RHEL).
Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, FTP, SSH).
Experience with Apache/Nginx, and system security hardening.
Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab Runner.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and monitoring tools like Grafana/Zabbix.
Knowledge of application environments involving Golang, Node.js, and Java.
Strong problem-solving skills, system troubleshooting ability, and good team collaboration.
Good English communication (spoken and written).
Nice to HaveCertifications: RHCSA, Security+, or similar.
Experience in cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
Exposure to fast-paced product-based or tech companies.
