Job Description

Responsible for analyzing, evaluating, reporting, and monitoring the bank's and/or subsidiaries liquidity and investment management to ensure adequacy and appropriateness in relation to financial position, risk profile, and activities. This includes compliance with regulations and guidelines from supervisory authorities such as the Bank of Thailand (BOT), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).

Roles and Responsibilities

- Manage cash flows in all currencies across all accounts to meet daily business needs through interbank transactions such as money market or private repo.

- Maintain liquid assets, report daily liquidity position, and conduct liquidity risk scenario testing in coordination with the Risk Management Group.

- Plan and coordinate with relevant departments to raise funds through deposits and debt instruments from financial institutional and large corporate clients.

- Act as the central unit for daily liquidity management for the bank and subsidiaries.

- Support liquidity-related data for relevant committees to help determine key liquidity management strategies, such as the Money Desk Sub-committee.

- Plan and execute investments in fixed incomes to enhance returns from the bank's and subsidiaries liquid assets.

- Analyze performance and monitor risk-return profile of the investment portfolio to ensure alignment with defined risk frameworks, and report results to relevant committees such as the Investment Committee.

- Explore investment channels or instruments with suitable risk-return profiles for the bank and subsidiaries.

- Research and develop tools to help the department achieve its goals.

- Monitor and analyze bond market conditions, money market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes.

- Perform other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

- 12 years of working experience in banking or any other related financial fields.

- Knowledge and understanding of financial products in money and capital markets.

- Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory, control frameworks, and supervisory guidelines for financial institutions from authorities such as BOT, SEC, and SET.

- Interest in tracking economic conditions, investment, and interest rate trends regularly.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, creativity, communication, and presentation skills.

- Detail-oriented and capable of delivering high-standard work on complex and diverse issues.

- Knowledge or experience in liquidity or investment management is a plus.

- Proficiency in essential software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Programming skills (e.g., VBA or SQL) are advantageous.
