Position Summary
As the LLE Manager, you are to lead, plan, execute and manage the delivery, installation and commissioning of the prefabricated long lead equipment and products for new data centre projects, ensuring the equipment are rigorously tested, validated and handed over to Operations and Customers meeting design intent, reliability standards, contractual requirements, and safety protocols to ensure seamless project execution.
You will drive the First-of-Kind (FOK) process and on‑site integration of prefabricated MEP equipment for our data center projects. Acting as the critical link between the overseas fabrication factories, logistics providers, and the site construction team. You will ensure that prefabricated components are manufactured to specification, transported efficiently, and installed seamlessly to support aggressive construction schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Prefab Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Serve as the primary liaison with overseas prefabrication factories and freight forwarders.
- Plan and coordinate end‑to‑end logistics, including:
- Route surveys and feasibility studies
- Customs clearance and import/export documentation
- Delivery scheduling aligned with the site construction program
- Track shipments in real time and proactively resolve delays to ensure just‑in‑time delivery.
- Factory & Manufacturing Oversight
- Validate shop drawings, fabrication models, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor factory production schedules and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) to verify quality before shipment.
- Ensure packaging and labeling meet international transport and site handling requirements.
- On‑Site Integration & Installation Support
- Coordinate with MEP subcontractors and site teams to plan:
- Offloading, storage, and staging areas
- Crane/lifting plans and safe handling procedures
- Supervise the installation and integration of prefabricated MEP modules, ensuring alignment with design intent and system functionality.
- Troubleshoot on‑site issues related to prefabricated components and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Facilitate daily coordination between design, procurement, logistics, and construction teams.
- Attend site coordination meetings to align prefabrication deliverables with overall construction milestones.
- Ensure smooth handover of prefabricated systems from logistics to installation teams.
- Commissioning (Cx) & Documentation
- Support Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and overall commissioning activities for prefabricated MEP systems.
- Maintain comprehensive records of:
- Factory test reports, shipping documents, and delivery receipts
- As‑built markings and commissioning data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in MEP or construction projects, preferably involving prefabrication or modular systems.
- Direct experience coordinating prefabricated equipment sourced from overseas is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with an electrical background considered a plus.
- Familiarity with logistics planning, international shipping, and customs processes.
- Knowledge of commissioning practices (FAT/ SAT) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in Thai, English and Mandarin is essential for effective coordination with multi-lingual partners.
