JOB SUMMARY
Loan and liquidity teams engage in various kinds of responsibilities, such as loan management, liquidity management, and FX management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Loan Management
1. Project Finance
- Pre-hedge FX for construction cost
- Enter the Interest rate hedging during construction and operation.
- Handling of FX loan monitoring and FX hedging for foreign exposure.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather all necessary information required by the lenders.
2. Corporate Finance
- Make sure that the company still complies with any undertaking or obligation related to FX exposure or interstate risk exposure required by lenders.
- Provide any information, KYC, to the bank as needed.
- Keep relationship with each lender to support the company business growth.
- Knowledgeable in corporate loan instruments, with familiarity in compliance requirements set by financial regulatory bodies.
Liquidity Management
- FX monitoring of Intercompany loan between the company group.
- Internal cashflow management within the company group.
- Manage Cost of hedging to the appropriate level.
FX Management
- Provide strategic recommendations for hedging FX exposure to mitigate the potential risk.
- Monitor and hedge the company's foreign exchange exposures, including intercompany transactions, foreign currency loans, interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, and commodity hedging.
- Capable of utilizing a wide range of derivative instruments to mitigate foreseeable FX risks and protect the company against currency volatility.
Other Assignment
- Can operate special assignments related to loan and liquidity and FX work from time to time, as deemed necessary and appropriate.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Capable of applying Derivative products for specific situations such as hedging LNG price, etc.
- Strong understanding of a wide range of FX and Derivative instruments for effective mitigation of FX risk exposure across corporate group entities.
- Ability to assess the market situation that may impact FX risk of the company and execute hedging strategies in line with or exceed the industry's best practices.
- Well knowledge of various kinds of banking products.
- Well knowledge of capital market and money market.
- Possess a basic understanding of corporate law, with the ability to identify key risks and mitigation measures outlined in loan agreements.
- Knowledge of Treasury Center management is a plus.
- Capable of doing a routine work and special assignment task which may pop up from time to time.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Finance or Accounting or a related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in roles directly related to the stated responsibilities.
- Excellent communication both Thai and English.
